A search of digital images of the marriage license dockets from volume 18 reveals an index entry for "R. J. Young" with license number 14489, however unfortunately the pages that would contain licenses 14484-14489 are missing from the digitized image. Regardless the dates of the adjacent records are generally from late August 1893, which would match the newspaper marriage announcement of their marriage on 28 August 1893
