Frank and Elaine (Kiedrowski) Gamsky, of Bradenton, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on November 27, 2004. They were married in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1954. Mr. and Mrs. Gamsky are the owners of the Linger Lodge R.V. Resort and Restaurant and moved here 36 years ago. They have four children, Debra Bell, of Cortez, Fla., Dan Gamsky, of Fort Myers, Fla., Dave Gamsky and Donna Gamsky, both of Bradenton and six grandchildren. Mr. Gamsky attributes trust and understanding as the reason for their long marriage. He says, "She don't trust me and I don't understand her!"5

Bradenton, Florida - Frank Gamsky, 93, of Bradenton, died August 17, 2023. He and his wife, Elaine (Kiedrowski) were well-known owners of Linger Lodge RV Resort and Restaurant from 1968-2005. He is preceded in death by his wife and parents Frank L. and Adeline M. (Vahlert) Gamsky, siblings Dorothy (Frisch), Russ and George. He’s survived by his children Daniel (Kathleen), Debra (Warren Bell), Frank David (Susan) and Donna. His grandchildren are Lindsey Peacock, Megan Patterson, Virginia Gamsky, Warren “Beau” Bell III, Becky Gamsky and Rachel Gamsky. His great grandchildren are Liam Gamsky Hust, Koraline Patterson and Parx, Stone and McKinley Peacock. Born in Milwaukee, WI, a US Army Veteran, he will be remembered for his well-timed jokes entertaining customers at Linger Lodge, his taxidermy (Alaskan Fur Fish), and volunteering at the Old Braden River Historical Society. Elaine Kiedrowski Gamsky was born in Milwaukee, WI in 1932. She married Frank Gamsky Nov. 27, 1954, and they are the parents of four children. In 1968, the family moved to Manatee County when they purchased Linger Lodge which they operat- ed for 37 years. She was an extraordinarily kind woman who is cherished by her husband and children, Dan Gamsky, Deb Gamsky Bell (Warren), Frank David Gamsky (Susan Culbreath) and Donna Gamsky who will forever be shaped by her influ- ence. She was proud of her grandchildren, Lindsey Bell Peacock (Brian), Megan Gamsky Patterson (Shawn), Ginger Gamsky Hust (William), Becky Gamsky, Rachel Gamsky and Warren “Beau” Bell III, as well as, her great- grandsons, Liam Gamsky Hust and Parx Peacock.
Visitation Sunday, June 24th, 2018, 2-5 p.m. at Toale Brothers Funeral Home, 912 53rd Ave W., Bradenton, FL 34207. Funeral Mass Monday, June 25th, 2018, 11 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 833 Magellan Dr., Sarasota, FL 34243.
