  Passed away on December 27, 2005. She was born in Michigan in 1922 and was raised there, graduating from high school in Kalamazoo in 1940. She moved to Chicago in 1944 where she met her husband Norman Barlevi, who passed away in 1954. A widow at the age of 32, Alice raised her three children virtually on her own. She moved her family to the west in 1967 eventually settling in Southern California.
  
  She remarried in 1982 and lived with her new husband Christopher Seabrook until his death in 2001. Alice is survived by her three children, Bonnie Minkin, Karen Roberts and Steven Barlevi; her four grandchildren, Dawn Minkin, Aaron Minkin, Jessica Halepis and Scott Roberts; and her great-granddaughter, Grace Halepis. Memorial services will be held in the near future..¹⁶
